So bands like Rage Against The Machine, Linkin Park, Limp Bizkit, P.O.D, ect... Those are all rap-metal/rock, They have more of a rap/hip-hop feel in their music. And bands like Korn, Disturbed, Slipknot, Mudvayne ect.. are all Nu-metal bands, they have more of a metal feel in their music but still have some rap/hip-hop elements in it.

And the difference between Nu-metal & Rap-metal or rap-rock is that Nu-metal has more of a metal feel in it while Rap-metal or rap-rock has more of a rap/hip-hop feel in it.

Actually, Korn does fit in because they were one of the first nu-metal bands. Nu-metal(combining elements of rap/hip-hop with metal) And if you look at disturbed's early stuff, especially on the Sickness albulm theres alot of rap/hip-hop elements, David's vocals, it almost sounds like he is rapping & the music has a rap/hip-hop feel to it, has more of a groove. And Slipknot has used turntables & have rap/hip-hop feels in their music too. So yes, they have been influenced a little by rap/hip-hop.

what would I do without Linkin Park!? (sarcasm). Disturbed and Slipknot don't originate from rap/hip-hop at all. they're an abbreviation from metal. Also, The words nu-metal and rap-rock should not have a slash between them because they're both entirely different. And Korn doesn't even fit, its altern.
