Well actually the Vikings were the first white people from Europe 2 land in the Americas, but I do get what u mean. Anyway as for your question, well all we have 2 do is look back to the past were the great central american civs of the Aztecs, Mayans and Pueblos. Also, as you move down south, you come upon the Incas, who's own Empire was as large as the Roman Empire. All I can say is that even if cristopher columbus hadn't arrived, eventually the Europeans would, so it was bound to happen.

this is so beutiful, but sad, and hopeful... its just sad we lost so much of their culture thanks to Cristopher Colombus, and all that fallowed him. i wonder what would be of The Americans if the europens never found it?

I don't want to protect or attack a culture, but don't see it too romantic. After all, most native tribes fought endless wars between eachother. Pretty much like we did in Europe - only we had stronger weapons. But I agree it's a tragedy that so much of those American cultures got lost.
